Terms of Service
By utilizing our services, you agree to these Terms.
Section I. Overview
Subsection a. These Terms of Service (“terms”, “tos”) and Terms and Conditions (“terms”, “T&C”) govern your use and access to Slime Hosting LLC’s SlimeHosting.com website and present a legally binding contract between you (“client”, “customer”, “consumer”, “you”, “your”) and Slime Hosting (“we”, “us”, “host”, “our”, “slimehosting”, “slime hosting”), as each party will be referred to hereinafter. We reserve the right to amend these TOS and T&C at any point in time, with or without advance warning or notification of any kind. You may use and access our services only in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and any applicable laws. Please consult these Terms and Conditions regularly and read them carefully before using our services. You affirm that you have read this agreement and understand, agree and consent to its Terms and Conditions.
Subsection b. SlimeHosting cannot by law allow the following users and viewers to use the platform in the following events: customer is unable to sign legally binding contracts, customer is under thirteen (13) years of age and does not have a parent’s or legal guardian’s consent, customer is barred from receiving and rendering services under the laws of the United States, State of Florida, or another applicable jurisdiction, customer is suspended or banned from using the website, or customer is flagged by our fraud prevention system. We may, at our absolute discretion, refuse to register any person or entity as a User. You cannot transfer or assign any rights or obligations you have under this agreement without prior written consent.
Subsection c. You agree that you will hold SlimeHosting free from all stipulations, liability and or losses such as expenses and claims suffered either but not limited to the negligence of the customer and or indirect cause of SlimeHosting. In the event any loss is suffered you the consumer agrees to hold but not limited to the following free from liability such as; Employees, contractors, all other consumers, directors, suppliers, claimants and or anyone associated with SlimeHosting unless stipulated by the governing law and direct cause is proven within a Court of Law.
Subsection e. You acknowledge and agree that the consideration which SlimeHosting is charging hereunder does not include any consideration for assumption of the risk of customer’s consequential, punitive, special or incidental damages which may arise in connection with customer’s use of the software and documentation. Accordingly, the customer agrees that SlimeHosting shall not be responsible to the consumer for any loss-of profit, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential punitive damages arising out of the use of the service or documentation.
Section II. Service Term
The initial service term of the agreement shall begin on the date that Slime Hosting generates an e-mail message to customer announcing the activation of the customer's account (the "Service Commencement Date") and shall continue for the first partial month of service plus the number of full calendar months stated in the order (the "initial term"). Upon expiration of the initial term, this agreement shall automatically renew unless SlimeHosting or customer provides the other with notice of nonrenewal at least seven (7) days prior to the expiration of the initial term or then-current renewal term, as applicable, as submitted via SlimeHosting’s website.
Section III. Payments
Subsection a. Fees are payable in advance on the first day of each billing cycle. Customer's billing cycle shall be dictated on the order, generally in a cycle of months, beginning on the service commencement date. SlimeHosting may require payment for the first billing cycle before beginning service. If the order provides for credit/debit card billing, customer authorizes SlimeHosting to bill subsequent fees to the credit/debit card on, after, or up to three days before the first day of each successive billing cycle during the term of this agreement; otherwise SlimeHosting will invoice Customer via electronic mail to the primary customer contact listed on the order. Invoiced fees will be issued at least seven (7) days before the first (1st) day of each billing cycle, and the fees shall be due on the seventh (7th) day following invoice date, but in no event earlier than the first day of each billing cycle.
Subsection b. Customer is responsible for providing SlimeHosting with changes to billing information (such as credit card expiration, change in billing address, etc). SlimeHosting LLC may suspend the service without notice if payment for the service is overdue. Fees not disputed within sixty (60) days of due date are conclusively deemed accurate. Customer agrees to pay SlimeHosting’s reasonable costs of collection of overdue amounts, including collection agency fees, late fees, dispute/chargeback fees, attorney fees and court costs where applicable.
Subsection c. SlimeHosting may increase its fees for services, products, addons, etc., at any time with or without notice.
Subsection d. At SlimeHosting’s request, customer shall remit to SlimeHosting all sales, VAT or similar tax imposed on the provision of the services (but not in the nature of an income tax on SlimeHosting), regardless of whether SlimeHosting fails to collect the tax at the time the related services are provided.
Subsection e. SlimeHosting base all pricing schemata from United States Dollars (USD). Due to this, prices in other currencies may fluctuate rapidly at any time, for any or no reason, including during an ongoing billing period.
Subsection f. Customer acknowledges that Slime Hosting may terminate service agreement at any time if customer violates this agreement or the Fair Use Policy (Section XI) (the "FUP"), which is hereby incorporated by reference in this agreement. Customer acknowledges that the amount of the fee for the service is based on customer's agreement to pay the fee for the entire initial term, or renewal term, as applicable. In the event SlimeHosting terminates the agreement for customer's breach of the agreement or customer terminates the service for SlimeHosting’s breach, the unpaid fees for each billing cycle remaining in the initial Term or then-current renewal term, as applicable, are due on the business day following termination of the agreement.
Subsection g. Customer is responsible for paying any late fees incurred through failure to pay the invoice by its due date. The late fee is +35% of the total due amount. Failure to pay the late fee will result in service termination. Late fees are added after the third overdue notice sent to the customer's billing email, and/or five (5) days after the invoice is due.
Subsection h. Customer acknowledges that seven (7) days after an invoice is due, the service's files will be permanently deleted from SlimeHosting's systems and cannot be recovered at any point.
Subsection i. Customer acknowledges that seven (7) days before a recurring invoice is due, if the customer used a credit or debit card, we will attempt to capture payment. This is because we can only retry, assuming the payment fails, once per week.
Section IV. Refunds, Disputes, and Cancellations
Subsection a. Servers are eligible for full refunds within twenty-four (24) hours from the point in which the server was purchased. After this period, refunds will only be given out at our discretion. All completed server upgrades are final and will not be refunded. Any servers that have received an installation on them are not eligible for a refund, even within twenty-four (24) hours from when the server was purchased. All refund requests must be completed through our ticket system whether inside the twenty-four (24) hour refund period or not. A cancellation request is NOT the same as a refund request. Even if a cancellation request is submitted within twenty-four (24) hours of purchase, no refund will be issued without a separate refund request ticket.
Subsection b. We may require additional information in order to process any refunds. After receiving a refund request, we will reach out via email to confirm. If a confirmation is not received, we are not responsible for any subsequent charges or late issuance of the refund.
Subsection c. Payments taken past the date of a granted refund request will be refunded.
Subsection d. Services can be canceled at any time by either the customer or SlimeHosting.
Subsection e. You can cancel your service at any time through the billing area on our website. Server cancellations can only be undone by SlimeHosting after the customer submits a support ticket declaring the desire that the cancellation request is undone. Services are canceled depending on the client’s wishes, which are outlined in the cancellation module on our website (immediate cancellation and cancellation at the end of the billing period). Immediate cancellation will result in your services being terminated immediately. Cancellation at the end of the billing period will terminate your services the day your billing is due, but the customer will not be charged this day.
Section V. Security
Subsection a. As a user of our website, you agree that you will: never share your account credentials, take responsibility for all actions on your account, be responsible for securing the account, not exploit any software, bugs, glitches, or issues on our website, report said software exploits, bugs, glitches, or issues to SlimeHosting, not attempt to circumvent security features, not perform an attack of any kind of a SlimeHosting network, server, website, or host, including, but not limited to, denial of service attacks (DDoS), not engage in activities that will disrupt SlimeHosting’s website, servers or services, not engage in criminal and/or illegal activities on Slime Hosting’s website, services or servers.
Subsection b. SlimeHosting does not guarantee that we will be able to stop any and all DDOS attacks, despite providing DDOS protection.
Section VI. Servers
Subsection a. RAM is provided based on the plan ordered, Your server is allocated the full amount of memory you purchase. In game plugins may not show the service having the full memory; this is due to certain plugins using metaspace.
Subsection b. We provide unlimited player slots on all game plans, this means that you can set your server to any slot number you would like. This does not mean your service can handle unlimited players. CPU intensive servers may be suspended without warning to prevent causing issues with other clients, You will be notified of this via a ticket on our billing panel and expected to work with us to resolve the issue. Our disk space is provided as "unmetered" which is in accordance with fair-use (section XI). This is based on the node you are on. If your disk space is breaking our fair-use you will be contacted via a ticket on our billing panel and expected to work with us to resolve the issue. We do not allow the use for automatic backup plugins as these can negatively affect other customers services by using up a large amount of disk space. For large dynmap folders logs, backups and other related files may be purged if it is causing issues on the node. If you are found to be using a plugin or jarfile that increases your RAM allocation your service will be terminated without refund. We do not allow the use of plugins which allow you to run multiple servers on the same service, an example of this would be the plugin "subservers."
Subsection c. You acknowledge, if you are renting a Dedicated Game Server from SlimeHosting, that you will not be provided with SSH, KVM, root, or other forms of terminal/command line access to the server, as it is managed through our panel.
Subsection d. You acknowledge, if you are renting a MariaDB Server from SlimeHosting, that you will not be provided a management interface, such as phpMyAdmin. SQL must be managed through the server's console.
Subsection e. You acknowledge, if you are renting a Dedicated Game Server from SlimeHosting, that you are completely responsible for the security management of your game panel. Slime Hosting is not responsible for any unauthorized logins or damage caused in relation to them.
Subsection f. You acknowledge, if you are renting a Dedicated Game Server from SlimeHosting, in the event your server name, as entered at checkout, is unavailable, we will contact you prior to server set up to choose a different name. If you fail to respond within twenty-four (24) hours, we will randomly choose a name. This name chosen by us is unable to be changed at a later point. It is worth noting that this name on applies to your panel link (i.e. myserver.slimehosting.com) and has no effect on the servers created on your Dedicated Game Server.
Subsection g. You acknowledge, if you are renting a Dedicated Game Server from SlimeHosting, the storage type (NVMe/SSD) cannot be changed at a later point. The only time to select a storage type or amount of storage is at checkout, unless otherwise stated by SlimeHosting.
Subsection h. Free trial servers are permanently deleted after the alloted trial period, unless SlimeHosting is contacted at least twenty-four (24) hours in advance and the client purchases a service that the trial server can be transferred onto.
Section VII. Abuse
Subsection b. Free trials are limited to one per person. If you wish to have the game transferred for your trial server, you must contact support. Getting another trial server when one is already active is not permitted. SlimeHosting reserves the right to refuse trial servers at any time.
Section VIII. Support
Subsection a. We aim to provide a response within 1 hour for all tickets. However, depending on the complexity of the request, this may be longer. Bumping the tickets will further delay a response as we answer tickets based on their last reply. Spamming our ticket system may result in your ban from our support system and thus you will not be able to get support. We reserve the right to not provide support due to but not limited to abusive comments such as swearing, if this is a continued problem your services may be terminated without refund. We may provide a live chat service that is for pre-sales only, if you have any technical queries or billing issues please create a ticket. All our services are unmanaged unless elsewhere specified, due to this we may be unable to provide extended support for configuration issues.
Subsection b. We perform installations for clients upon request via our support ticket system. However, we reserve the right to refuse an installation for any reason, including a world upload being too large, or a plugin file being flagged as malware. Furthermore, we will not restart your server for you after an installation task has been completed; you must do this yourself.
Subsection c. We offer a Managed Service addon. This allows clients to have SlimeHosting perform certain tasks on their service. SlimeHosting reserves the right to refuse support to anyone, even if they are in possession of this addon, with or without reason, at any time.
Subsection d. Clients are not permitted to submit more than 10 support requests per day, unless the support request is directly related to a technical issue caused by SlimeHosting.
Subsection e. SlimeHosting reserves the right to either suspend or terminate any client's support access, with or without notice, at any time, for any reason.
Subsection f. Although Dedicated Game Servers may be considered to have Managed Support, SlimeHosting does not guarantee active intervention in the event of any issue regarding customer's Dedicated Game Server. SlimeHosting staff cycle through Dedicated Game Server instances once every one (1) day. SlimeHosting is not responsible for late intervention or not intervening.
Section IX. Addons
Subsection a. All setup addons are applicable for the server they are purchased for and are non-refundable and non-transferable. These addons are provided “as is” and no additional support will be provided after the addon has been configured.
Subsection b. All support requests that can be honored and cannot be honored are listed at this page: https://slimehosting.com/billing/knowledgebase/30/What-is-Elevated-Support.html. It is the responsibility of the Customer to be aware of what is honored and what is not.
Subsection c. Managed Service requests, unless otherwise specified, apply only to Minecraft Servers and do not apply to Dedicated Game Servers or any other product.
Subsection d. SlimeHosting is not responsible for any failed backup retrievals or processes on Dedicated Game Servers. Backups are handled by our upstream providers, and in some cases, an error on their end may cause this.
Subsection e. Customer acknowledges that they cannot request more than one (1) backup retrieval and/or restoration every twenty-four (24) hours, regardless of the backup rate. We may allow this in some cases depending on the nature of the support request.
Subsection f. As stated in Section VI, Subsection g., A-List Dedicated Game Servers cannot have their storage type changed at a later point, nor have the amount changed, unless otherwise stated by SlimeHosting.
Section X. Server Transfers
Subsection a. Our system randomly assigns server locations (see Subsection b.), however, they can be transferred upon client request. In the event the customer requests a server transfer (transferring the purchased server to another node or location), SlimeHosting will attempt to do so (see Subsection b.). However SlimeHosting does not guarantee that all server transfers will be able to be honored. Furthermore, we reserve the right to change the location of the customer’s server, the IP address and port of the server, subdomain of the server, and any other features associated with the location of the customer’s server at any time, with or without notice. Finally, SlimeHosting is not responsible for any damage to data or loss of data as a result of a server transfer.
Subsection b. Dedicated Game Servers cannot and will not be transferred to other locations. We are not responsible for the failure to select the desired location at checkout.
Subsection c. SlimeHosting reserves the right to transfer any server to any location for any reason at any time, with or without notice. Furthermore, SlimeHosting cannot be held liable for any damage caused by this process.
Section XI. Fair Use
Subsection a. If deemed necessary by SlimeHosting, We reserve the right to remove excessive server files that are taken up the storage of the customer’s server node. In this event, the customer is given notice via support ticket that the customer must remove excessive files. If the customer fails to do so within an allotted period of time, SlimeHosting will do it and cannot be deemed responsible for any file corruption, loss of data/progress, etc. No refund or compensation will be given by SlimeHosting unless otherwise declared in the support ticket in the event of any file corruption, loss of data/progress, etc., due to the customer’s failure to remove the requested files.
Subsection b. Game Servers, by default, have 50% of storage dedicated to backups. For example, a 2GB server has 20GB NVMe SSD. 10GB is dedicated to backups. The customer can change this by contacting SlimeHosting through support tickets.
Subsection c. Dedicated Game Servers cannot have storage upgraded at a later point. The amount purchased at checkout is the final amount.
Section XI. Miscellaneous
Subsection a. Giveaways run for any SlimeHosting service or by SlimeHosting are subject to the final decision of SlimeHosting management. Prizes may be withdrawn at any time for any reason. This includes but is not limited to monetary prizes, services or account credit.
Subsection b. SlimeHosting is not responsible for any inaccurate hardware specifications on our site.
Subsection c. SlimeHosting does not endorse, agree with, or affiliate itself with the actions or comments made by our partners.
Subsection d. SlimeHosting is not in any way Affiliated with Mojang. AB. Nor should we be considered a business endorsed by Mojang. AB. Do not contact Mojang AB regarding anything involving SlimeHosting. Support and or requests should be made to SlimeHosting. SlimeHosting is not affiliated with; Minecraft ®/TM & © 2009-2023 Mojang AB.

Free Server Policy
By ordering or utilizing a free server, you understand and accept this Policy.
Section II. Free servers can run 2GB maximum RAM. Due to this, not all games, mods, plugins, player counts, etc., are available.
Section III. Free servers have 4GB maximum SSD. Due to this, you may run out of storage quickly. This cannot be upgraded or changed without a paid server being ordered.
Section IV. Any addons purchased for a free server are considered "null and void", and will not be honored. Refunds for this will be issued as Account Credit. SlimeHosting has the right to refuse refund for any reason.
Section V. Free servers may be deleted at any time, with or without notice, by SlimeHosting.
Section VI. Free servers are not covered under SLA and we do not guarantee 99.9% uptime for them.
Section VII. You are limited to 1 free server. If found to be using multiple accounts for multiple servers, the servers will be deleted and you will be banned from our site.
Section VIII. Connecting free servers to other free servers via BungeeCord or similar is not permitted.
Section IX. Reselling free servers is not permitted.
Section X. You cannot downgrade a premium server to a free server.
Section XI. Credit Card or PayPal Information is required to receive a free server, however, you will not be charged while having a free server. This is purely for upgrades.
Section XII. In some cases, SlimeHosting may institute a queue on free servers, meaning your server is placed in an ordered list to allow startup. This will not be announced.
Section XIII. Support is not 24/7 for free servers. Free server support hours are 12:00PM EST to 6:00PM EST.
Section XIV. SlimeHosting will not split free servers (A.K.A. diving the RAM/Disk between two servers).
Section XV. Free servers are considered "while supplies last." We do not guarantee a free server will be available to you.
Section XVI. The Terms of Service still apply to free servers in addition to this Policy.
Service Level Agreement (SLA)
By utilizing our services, you agree to this SLA.
Section I. Overview SlimeHosting is committed to delivering all services to our paying clientele with 99.9% uptime. SlimeHosting offers guaranteed 99.9% uptime via this Service Level Agreement (“SLA”, “Uptime Policy”). This SLA is provided as a supplement to the Terms and Conditions you agreed to when becoming a SlimeHosting customer. This uptime guarantee is applicable on a per-service-item and is not applicable for your entire monthly invoice. The SLA covers all services SlimeHosting offers and will offer in the future, with the exclusion of the services mentioned in the Service Level Agreement Exclusions and Limitations part of this agreement.
Section II. Service Downtime Service Downtime is defined as any unanticipated interruption in service availability during which a client is unable to access any SlimeHosting services, provided that the interruption is determined to have been brought on by an issue with the immediate SlimeHosting services and or networking services, as confirmed by SlimeHosting management. The duration of all unforeseen service availability interruptions over the course of a calendar month is referred to as downtime. When a client uses third-party software that results in downtime, SlimeHosting is not liable. An example of a third-party software would be the Minecraft Authentication Servers, Steam Login Servers, or a plugin's API.
Section III. Exclusions and Limitations
Although the management of SlimeHosting values and cares for all of its paying customers, this agreement must contain some limits and/or exclusions since there are some circumstances over which we have no control. So, none of the following are eligible for Service Level Credit, reimbursements, or account credits:
[a] Natural events; in the event that datacenters experience downtime due to extreme weather, or any other methods specified by law, will not be covered.
[b] The usability of the control panel, DNS servers, API, and web properties of SlimeHosting.
[c] Any illegal actions taken by or committed by the client, including DDOS attacks, illegal server activity, and terminations.
[d] Internet inaccessibility caused by customer problems; in the case that the customer's own internet service provider or uptime is interrupted without SlimeHosting’s fault. We request you use a MTR to determine this.
[e] And/or using more resources than those allotted by the client's plan; If the client's server is down because their service uses more resources than were paid.
[f] Dedicated Game Servers are only seldom covered by SLA due to their independent nature. SlimeHosting staff must be contacted regarding downtime on a Dedicated Game Server.
Section IV. Outage Credits
After a service has been unavailable for more than 30 minutes consecutively, service level agreement credit is offered. After 30 minutes, the customer will get a credit of 1% of the monthly bill for the affected services, up to 100% of the service's value, for each 15 minutes of continuous outage. Services that are provided quarterly or semiannually will only be eligible for reimbursement for their individual monthly value, not their total value. However, whether or not a qualifying outage has occurred must still be determined by SlimeHosting at its sole discretion.
Section V. Obtaining Outage Credits
Any credit provided under this SLA must be requested in writing in a support ticket that is connected to the event if you want to be eligible for it. ASSUMING WE ARE AWARE OF YOUR OUTAGE IS NOT APPROPRIATE. If you don't inform us via a support request, we might not be aware that there is a problem because your outage might not be at all connected to SlimeHosting’s services.
Only support tickets sent via slimehosting.com/billing are accepted as requests for credit under this SLA. Live Chat and Discord are not suitable venues on which to acquire credits.
You agree and accept that this SLA is subject to all other terms, conditions, restrictions, exclusions, and other provisions of SlimeHosting's Terms and Conditions.

COLLECTION OF INFORMATION We collect information about you when you use our Site. The information we collect may include: Personal Information: We may collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you use our Site, such as your name, email address, phone number, and billing information. Usage Information: We may collect information about your use of the Site, such as the pages you visit, the links you click, and other actions you take when using the Site. Device Information: We may collect information about the device you are using to access the Site, including the type of device, operating system, and browser.
USE OF INFORMATION We use the information we collect for the following purposes: To provide and improve our services to you. To communicate with you about our services and respond to your inquiries. To personalize your experience on the Site. To enforce our Terms of Service and other legal agreements. To comply with legal and regulatory requirements. For any other purpose with your consent.
SHARING OF INFORMATION We may share your information with third parties in the following circumstances: With your consent. With our service providers who assist us in providing the Site and our services to you. In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. To comply with legal and regulatory requirements. To protect the rights and safety of SlimeHosting, our customers, and others.
SECURITY We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no transmission of data over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of your information.
LINKS TO THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES The Site may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these websites. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of these websites before providing any personal information to them.
